A shared interest in reincarnation, meditation and ancient civilizations is what first attracted Blake and I to each other in 1973. Blake’s mother had several paperbacks published by The Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E. Press) which, in his teenage years, had hit a chord. I was already a member of an A.R.E. Study Group and immersed in the Edgar Cayce readings based on the wisdom that flowed through Cayce while he was in a sleep or trance condition. And so, the search for God, Guru and the connections between world civilizations and lost histories began.
Cayce astonished the world when his life readings started revealing information and details regarding past lives (reincarnation) in Atlantis, Mu and Lemuria. He cited these lost continents as the first place on Earth where man changed from spiritual to human form. His readings revealed how humankind is influenced by previous incarnations and suggested that we are “re-living” many of the lessons we missed. He reports that Atlantis destroyed itself in a nuclear holocaust thousands of years ago. Then goes so far as to say, that if we can decipher our ancient past, we can stop and reverse the current destruction of our planet.
The Cayce principals and religious teachings are biblical in origin and over time we moved to the teachings of Parmahansa Yogananda as Self Realization Fellowship (SRF) disciples. However, the fascination with ancient cultures, earth changes, mythology, storytelling, and past civilizations’ migrations continues.
A recent move from Northern California to Southern New Mexico has brought us closer to the four corner states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. We now have a home base that allows easy access to the places that we see as links to the mysteries, connections, speculations, and intuitions that could lead us to some answers. If not, we intend to have a whole lotta fun investigating. So, feel free to come along for the ride—it’s a wild one.
